Hitbodedut in Huichin

For my master’s thesis, I produced and co-crated four audio experiences that explore Jewish practices in diaspora and learning how to become good guests to the Lisjan, Ohlone people in their ancestral and on-going territory of Huichin (aka East Bay). These audio experiences take place in four specific locations in Huchin and it is recommend to be in that physical location when listening, if possible.

They are made available to the public with permission from Sogorea Te’ with the agreement that listeners will make a financial contribution to Shuumi. Please give $1-$32 (or more) per episode you listen to. Enjoy!

Notes: These episodes were created in a specific moment and meant to reflect the truth of that moment rather than be “timeless”. Many people contributed to each episode and they are named in each recording, thank you!
